Hitter of the Day
Our hitter of the day, in a close call, is New Market’s Jordan Crawford, from Southwestern Oregon Community College! Crawford went 4-5, with three runs, a double, home run, and three RBIs in New Market’s win. It was his third appearance this summer, and he’s a cool 5-9 so far at the plate. I think he might see some more time after this performance…

Pitcher of the Day
Also from New Market, our POD is Reed Mascolo, a freshman from Wake Forest. Mascolo had the highest game score, coming in with a 70 after throwing 6 2/3 innings, allowing four hits, two earned runs, two walks, and striking out 10 to earn the win. He’s now 1-1, 3.08 this summer, with a whopping 18 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings pitched.
