The longest-tenured coach in the Valley League hit a milestone last night- Harrisonburg’s Bob Wease recorded his 500th victory as a coach!

Wease took over the helm during the 2001 season, and has coached every season since. He has won four regular season titles and one VBL championship in that time, and his teams have made the playoffs every single year except for two.

His team celebrated his achievement by dumping a water cooler on him, and he received a kiss from the real, behind-the-scenes reason for his success- his wife Teresa.
