Anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of the Valley League over the past two completed seasons (2019 and 2021) knows the name Aidan Nagle.
Nagle was the runaway MVP of the league in 2019, and then became the first MVP returner in over 15 years when he came back to Woodstock in 2021. He didn’t disappoint in ’21, either, as he was named both an All-Star and first-team All-Valley at the end of the season. (He made ATVL’s top hitter list both years, of course.)
Back at Lewis-Clark for his senior season, Nagle has just continued to rake, and has just been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week after going 4-5 with two home runs and seven RBIs in the second game of a doubleheader against Central Washington. For the season, he’s hitting .336/.444/.538 in 119 at-bats, with 34 runs scored, nine doubles, five home runs, 31 RBIs, and a solid 17/18 BB/K ratio.
