More rain in the Valley, which wiped out 60% of our games. Two went on…

  • Woodstock 2, Winchester 1: A tale of two teams going in opposite directions. The Bandits are 19-10 and have won six of seven, while the Royals fell to 11-18 and have dropped seven straight.
  • Strasburg 6, Front Royal 5: This was a crazy one. Down 5-2 in the ninth, the Express scored four times with one out to shock the Cardinals. Tommy Tavarez singled in two, and then came around to score the last run on an error. Strasburg is 16-12; Cardinals are now 13-19… but are still on pace to make the playoffs in the fourth spot in the North.
