Cook, Koehler, Simoneit Have a Day

Three former Valley Leaguers were amazing at the dish on Wednesday. In fact, the three of them combined to go 12-14, with 8 runs, 6 home runs, and 12 RBIs.

Let’s take a look:

  • Richmond’s Justin Cook (Charlottesville 2017) went 4-5, with 3 runs, 2 home runs, and 5 RBIs against Norfolk State. Justin is now hitting 320/395/533 in 75 at-bats this spring.
  • Western Carolina’s Matt Koehler (Woodstock 2015, Purcellville 2018) continued his torrid hitting, going 3-4, with 3 runs, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and a walk against Marshall. Matt is now at 402/504/804 in 97 at-bats, with 7 doubles, 4 triples, and 8 home runs.
  • Cornell’s Will Simoneit (Staunton 2018), who came into the game hitting 212/278/333, went an amazing 5-5, with 2 runs, a home run, and an RBI against Army West Point.
