We are only two days away from the release of ATVL’s 2015 Valley League Annual! (Ordering information coming Friday morning)

This is from page 100, about Charlottesville’s Daniel Johnson:

“On July 19th, the TomSox were locked in a duel with the Waynesboro Generals. Daniel came in the game in the 9th inning with the Sox down 3-2. He threw a shutout inning. The TomSox tied the game in the bottom of the 9th. Daniel came out to pitch the 10th, and threw another shutout inning. And then another one, and another one, and another one…. he ended up throwing seven shutout innings in the contest. He threw 100 pitches- 68 of them strikes- from the 9th until he was relieved in the top of the 16th inning. His final line: 7 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, 9 strikeouts… and no decision.”
