Hitter of the Day

In he two games combined, Woodstock’s Jacoby Long went 4-7, with a double, run, RBI, and two stolen bases. He’s now hitting .351/.417/.432 in 74 at-bats, with 20 runs, three doubles a home run, 15 RBIs, and eight stolen bases. The Miami product has also hit in 12 games in a row!

New Market’s Seth Keener put in the most impressive pitching performance yesterday, firing four no-hit, shutout innings, with two walks and six strikeouts in relief. He earned the win and a game score of 66. From Wake Forest, Keener is now 1-1, 6.07, with 20 K’s (and 11 walks) in 13 1/3 innings pitched.
