It appears that someone has picked up right where he left off…

Ryan Galanie, the second best hitter in the Valley League last summer, went 4-4 with two home runs in his first game for Wofford this spring on Friday, along with two home runs, a walk, and three runs scored. In his second game, just yesterday, he went 1-2 with a walk and three more runs scored, putting him at a cool 5-6 after two games.

Galanie was fantastic for Strasburg last summer, slashing .383/.481/.617 in 128 at-bats, with 42 runs, nine doubles, seven home runs, 22/19 BB/K ratio, and 26 RBIs. Then in six playoff games (the Express went 6-0 to win the title), he had two hits in each game, hitting a total of .480/.567/.680 with 10 more runs, two doubles, a home run, seven stolen bases, and four walks.

I can’t wait to see how well he hits in a full college season!
