San Jacinto College, along with former Charlottesville head coach (2021) and assistant coach Kory Koehler, is off to a 14-7 start to its 2022 schedule. Two former Valley Leaguers are off to excellent starts for the squad, who squares off with Blinn in a double-header this afternoon:

  • Mason Lytle (Winchester 2021) is hitting .413/.449/.746 in 63 at-bats, with 21 runs scored, 18 RBIs, one double, one triple, and six home runs (his headshot is the featured photo).
  • Sabin Ceballos (Winchester 2021), in 51 at-bats, is hitting .333/.407/.490, with 10 runs, five doubles, one home run, and six RBIs.

Others on the team include Jack Hicks (Purcellville 2021), who is 2-6 with five walks, Luke Pectol (Purcellville 2021), who is 4-25 with nine walks, and Dillon Janac (Charlottesville 2021), who has 14 strikeouts in nine innings pitched.
