Friday

  • Hunter Viets, Florida A&M (Covington 2021): Eight shutout innings, five hits, two walks, 11 K’s, win, game score of 81. Viets is 3-3, 3.72 in 38 2/3 total innings, with 15 walks and 34 K’s this spring.

Saturday

  • Sonny DiChiara, Auburn (Strasburg 2019): 4-5, run, three RBIs, double, home run. DiChiara is a ridiculous .461/.616/.921 in 76 at-bats, with 11 doubles, eight home runs, 24 RBIs, and 28 walks against 12 strikeouts.

Sunday

  • Peyton Wigginton, Middle Tennessee State (Staunton 2018): Nine innings (!!!), nine hits, one run (earned), one walk, six K’s, win (GS: 70). For the spring, he’s 3-2, 3.40, with four walks and 38 K’s in 42 1/3 innings pitched.
  • Trey Braithwaite, West Virginia (Winchester 2019): 3 2/3 shutout, no-hit innings, no walks, three K’s, save. He has been very good out fo the bullpen; he’s 1-0, 1.50, with two saves, along with six walks and 22 K’s in 18 total innings.
