Hitter of the Day
For the second time this season, we have a three home run game! (First was Luke Berryhill on June 8th.) This time it’s Front Royal’s Spencer Packard, from Arizona Western, who went 3-4, with 4 runs, 4 RBIs, and the aforementioned 3 home runs in the first game of the doubleheader against Covington. Keep in mind, Dear Reader, that he did this in 7 innings. Spencer is now hitting 310/435/483 in 87 at-bats this summer, along with a very good 17/14 BB/K ratio.
