The June draft is fast approaching! Baseball America is starting to ramp up its coverage of the event, starting with its top 300 list, published this past week.

ATVL, of course, has picked out the former Valley Leaguers. There were three listed within the top 200 (and none from 200-300):

#138- Graham Ashcraft, UAB, RHP (Waynesboro 2018): Graham was drafted back in 2016 by the Dodgers (12th round), and is projected to go in the top five rounds in June. At the moment (stats through Sunday, March 24) Graham is 1-2, 3.54, with a 1.571 WHIP, 5.8 BB/9, and 10.9 K/9 in 28 innings pitched.

#169- Kyle McCann, Georgia Tech, C (Harrisonburg 2017): Kyle has arguably hit the best in all of college baseball so far this spring, putting up excellent power numbers. He’s slashing 369/535/905, with 21 runs, 9 doubles, 12 home runs, 32 RBIs, and a 30/20 BB/K ratio in 84 at-bats. He’s tied for first in home runs in Division-I.

#177- Zach Peek, Winthrop, RHP (Strasburg 2017): In ATVL’s opinion the best starting pitcher in the league in 2017, Zach’s electric right arm is garnering some attention. He’s currently 3-1, 3.93, with a 1.283 WHIP, 4.5 BB/9, and 10.8 K/9 in 34 1/3 innings.
